pixolo adds new products and expands to Austria with photobook.ai's White Label platform
Singapore and Frankfurt – pixolo has chosen photobook.ai’s V4 White-label app-to-print platform to replace their eponymous pixolo kiosk photo printing app. pixolo is a household name in Germany, and their photo accessories are sold in every Rossmann retail store. They also devloped the PrintCube which is a self-service kiosk terminal where users order on their app, and merely scans a QR code at any one of over 10,000 kiosks all across Germany in Rossman stores.
With the new pixolo AI app platform, pixolo is now able to sell their products in multiple markets all from a single app and dashboard. This allows them to set different prices, segment their users, customize promotions and discounts, book cover templates, support different taxes, product vanity shots and yet, have individualized control on each product SKU, enabling them to turn them on/off in real time without having to make customers reinstall the apps.
Due to the expansive and flexible product variant support of the photobook.ai white-label platform, pixolo is also able to increase their product offering beyond their famous patented magnetic snap-on picture frames.
“We had our own very capable development team and we have been marketing our own apps for a good many years. When we discovered photobook.ai’s product, we were impressed by how flexible and easy it was to configure. To top it off, they were able to make creation of our award-winning product slick and fun to design, thanks to their clever use of AI! Having developed our own app, other than UI aesthetics, we were also concerned if our white-labelled apps will be diligently maintained and enhanced. The team at photobook.ai have a year’s worth of new features in their pipeline, and yet have a fine-tuned operations process where new features, bug fixes and upgrades are released every single week for BOTH apps. The choice is clear. We decided to adopt their platform and focus our energies on innovating and expanding on our products and network of resellers.”, says Ralph Naruhn, CEO of pixolo GmBH.
The pixolo App is now available in the Google Play store and Apple’s AppStores in Germany and Austria. The app supports English and German and have over 150 product variants available for purchase. Customers can pay in-app using over 10 payment methods, including Google and Apple Pay, all major credit cards and Klarna pay-later options and even the traditional Germany “pay-by-invoice” methods.
