Photobooks are digitally printed using the latest eco-friendly water-based inks from Hewlett Packard. Both matte and gloss pages use the same inks but differ in paper texture. Gloss paper provides a luxurious shiny sheen reminiscent of photo papers from the final decades of the last century. Matte paper offers a more “studio professional” look and does not catch as many reflections from overhead lights. Gloss printing tends to give the perception of brighter and more saturated colors as it reflects more light.
